Service Description

Want to a crash course in soldering and forming? Take this exciting ring workshop and learn how to size a wide band ring, solder wire and sheet, texture and stamp metal. Students will make two spinners, plain or with a twist (without stone setting). We will also work on polishing and finishing while using minimal bench tools and an acetylene/air torch. This is an excellent first workshop for those who would like a good introduction metalsmith work and soldering. *Due to varying skill levels you may not complete your project but can book open studio with Melissa to finish. Kit Fee: $55 (due to instructor at start of class) includes all materials and supplies to make one sterling silver ring. Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the Convenience Fee: A 2.9% convenience fee is added to all online transactions.
