Beach Glass Both Ways

Service Description

Are you in love with beach glass? Have you always wanted to turn it into jewelry? In this exciting class, you will learn first how to design a pendant and then bezel set a small piece of glass to fit your design. Then, learn how to carefully drill and wire wrap small beach glass pebbles to accent your piece or make links for earrings. If there is time, we will also take a look at soldering hoops closed with beach glass embellishments. This all day class will give you the know-how to learn 3 different techniques to turn those glittering gems into stunning nautical creations. Students will have a choice of beach glass in their kit. If you have any special (flat bottom) glass bring it along but please note it may not work for what we are doing in class. *Please note, due to varying skill levels, not everyone will finish the pendant during class. If you need more time you can book bench time session with Melissa. We will break for lunch. Skill Level: Intermediate but Adventurous Beginner welcome (soldering experience helpful) Kit Fee: $65 or $85 (Due to instructor at start of class) includes all sterling silver sheet, round and bezel wire, jump rings, beach glass, saw blades, solder and consumables. Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 9 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the Convenience Fee: A 2.9% convenience fee is added to all online transactions.
