Service Description
Do you have a creative teen who likes to craft and work with their hands. In this exciting 5 week class, students will learn how to use an array of bench tools to design and fabricate jewelry in fine and sterling silver, copper and brass. This is not a basic stringing and wire wrapping class. Students will learn precious metal clay, sawing, piercing, forming, soldering stone setting, finishing and more. This is a fascinating introduction to a wonderful trade and will give students skills to last a lifetime. Space limited to 8 bench seats. Kit Fee: $65 due to intructor first day of camp. Kit Includes: All materials (precious metal clay, sterling silver, copper, brass, gemstones, saw blades, polishing papers, solder, and consumables.
Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 9 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the class/workshop up to 3 business days before the class/workshop. Students will be refunded the amount of their tuition, or if you prefer, CJS will hold the tuition as credit for a period of six months from the date of cancellation. Students will be notified of cancellations by phone or email. • Students missing or dropping a class/workshop will not receive a refund, credits or make-up dates unless specified by the instructor. • A fee of $30 will be charged for each returned check.
