About the event
Learn how to size, stamp, texture, anneal, and solder metal to create a wide band ring that will soon become your favorite piece of jewelry. Add patina for a matte finish or polish it for a high shine. There will also be a demonstration in how to create an anticlastic look. Discover the fundamentals of metalsmithing and practice your soldering skills. This workshop will prepare you for more advanced classes. Kit fee = $10 for copper or brass due at workshop. Upgrade to sterling silver for $20. Refreshments served.
