Service Description
Fall is calling and it's time to answer with fire and metal! In this two-day workshop you'll transform sheets of copper into a collection of textured, organic leaves, then bring them to life with vitreous enamel in a full range of autumn color. You'll learn fold-forming to give each leaf its own natural movement and texture, no two alike. From there you'll prep your copper for enameling, learn the crackle technique, and get hands-on with color combinations and layering to make your enamel move and shift like real foliage. String your leaves onto a leather cord to build a collar as big or as bold as you want, add as many leaves as you like! You'll finish the class with a matching pair of earrings, and you'll leave knowing how to fabricate a clasp and fashion your own earwires from scratch. Two days, one gorgeous stack of skills, and a collar you'll wear all season long. Skill Level: Confident Beginner Materials for students to bring: N95 mask or respirator (required, we'll be dry sifting enamels) Kit Fee = $50 due to instructor at start of class. Kit Includes: One 22 gauge copper sheet, at least 6" x 6", vitreous enamels drawn from a full autumn color palette, leather cord, copper and silver wire for clasp and earwire fabrication. *Please see our cancellation policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the Convenience Fee: A 2.9% convenience fee is added to all online transactions.
