Bezel Setting for Beginners

Do you want to learn metalsmithing but don't have the time for a weekly class? We got you covered. In this weekend crash-course, learn how to saw and pierce and texture metal to make a unique backplate, properly size a bezel around a stone, decipher when to use various solders, size a ring, make a bail and so much more! Students will get a crash course in soldering and fabrication to make a unique pendant and a ring they will be proud to say they made. What are you waiting for? Learn the art of metalsmithing and start wearing your own jewelry! *We will break for lunch. *Due to various skill levels you may not finish during class. If you need more time to finish a project you can book Bench Time with Melissa. Skill Level: Beginner Kit Fee: $85 due to instructor at start of class. Kit Includes: All sterling silver sheet, gemstones, fine silver bezel wire, sterling silver ring blank, saw blades, solder, instructions and consumables. **Please see our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the Convenience Fee: A 2.9% convenience fee is added to all online transactions.
