Fold Form Cuff

Service Description

This beginner class will introduce you to the acetylene air torch as you learn annealing, folding and forming to create a stunning cuff. Students first practice texturing techniques like stamping, hammering to create unique designs. Then learn one or two folds, and create either a synclastic or anticlastic look. We will go over various polishing tools and patina options to get the desired finished look. No experience necessary. Due to various skill levels some may need to book open studio to finish. Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the Convenience Fee: A 2.9% convenience fee is added to all online transactions.
