Service Description
In this exciting 2-day class with guest instructor Laura Jane Bouton, students will learn how to build a unique bracelet with a flush setting and a chonky chain. Step by step, you will construct a hollow form clasp equipped with a spring mechanism that makes it functional and secure. You’ll also explore more interesting texturing and finishing techniques including using a hammer handpiece, to give your work a professional look. On day two, students will play around with chain making techniques to create a bracelet that will make store-bought chain pale in comparison. This exciting weekend class will not only add new techniques to your jewelry-making repertoire it will make buying stock chains, a thing of the past. Kit Fee: None **Students will be responsible for purchasing their own supplies. After booking you will be given a detailed list of materials and supplies to purchase to bring to class. CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the Convenience Fee: A 2.9% convenience fee is added to all online transactions.
