Interested in learning metalwork but don't know where to begin? This is the perfect class if you want to learn simple soldering, stone setting, forming and finishing work. This class will introduce you to many tools on the bench and will teach some of the fundamentals of soldering and forming metal it's the perfect gateway class into the world of metalsmithing. Skill Level: Beginner+ Kit Fee: $45 Kit Includes: Various gauges of sterling silver wire, gemstones, fine silver bezel cups, solder, sawblades, consumables. *Please see our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the Convenience Fee: A 2.9% convenience fee is added to all online transactions.
