Do you have a creative teen who loves to build, craft, and work with their hands? It’s time to move past basic bead-stringing and wire-wrapping. Welcome to the real deal. In this action-packed, 8-week course, students step into the shoes of a professional jeweler. They will transform raw sheets and wires of copper and brass and sterling silver into stunning, wearable art. This class isn't just about making jewelry—it’s a fascinating, hands-on dive into metalsmithing. Your teen will master authentic bench skills that last a lifetime and might even spark a future career! 🛠️ What They’ll Master:Precision Sawing & Piercing: Cutting intricate designs into metal Torches & Soldering: Using heat to permanently fuse metals together. Forming & Shaping: Hammering and manipulating metal into 3D forms. Stone Setting: S Precious Metal Clay (PMC): Sculpting with metal clay that turns into solid metal when fired.📋 Class Details:Skill Level: Absolute Beginner (No experience required!)Class Size: Strictly limited to 10 bench seats for maximum individual attention and safety. Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: • Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment. • Refunds are only given in the case that CJS must cancel a class/workshop. In the event that a class does not meet the required number of students, CJS reserves the right to cancel the Convenience Fee: A 2.9% convenience fee is added to all online transactions.
